7/hh Microphone Calibration

By keeping 7/hh pressed while turning the device on and then immediately releasing 7/hh, the audio port can be re-calibrated for a specific (unamplified) microphone you wish to use.

Perform this procedure if you are changing microphones, or if you can hear any sort of buzz or hum in microphone recordings. You do not need to re-calibrate when swapping between microphone and line-in source, as long as you keep using the same microphone.

Before doing this procedure, please insert the microphone you wish to calibrate for, disconnect the Woovebox from any other cabling, and ensure the environment is quiet so that the microphone records only silence.

Calibration takes only a couple of seconds, during which the screen and all LEDs wil be off. After the procedure the device will boot as normal.
